Adwords
How the Search Engine process works. When you place a search a list of results is shown. This will include websites, articles, files, and documents. The I'm Feeling Lucky option will direct the user to the first result. On the right hand side of the screen is where the Adwords will appear.
Adwords
Adwords is another form of advertising. Google is the Search Engine associated with this type. Their main competition is Yahoo Search Marketing and Microsoft ad Center.
Adwords offers Pay Per Click advertising and site targeted advertising, which is related to keywords. As an advertiser you pick your keywords and Google will place your ads on sites that are relevant to your keywords.
These types of advertisements can be in the form of text ads, banner ads, videos, mobile ads, or just local ones.
Explanation of Google Adwords:
The Keyword Tool and How It Can Help You:
Use short keywords. One or two words will result in the best results. Google offers Website Content option for finding keywords based on your website content.
Placement Targeted Ads:
This is an alternative to Adwords targeted keywords. It allows website owners to target specific sections where they wish their ads to appear. These are wise if you are promoting a new product to a specific audience. Keep in mind here that the pricing includes cost per thousand impressions. The benefits is that the targeting is by websites and the advertisements that are supported are rich ad formats and expanded text ads.
Factors Determining Ranking:
Factors that determine how ads are ranked such as keywords, cost per click bid, and quality score, this in turn is calculated from its clickthrough ratio on Google and the relevance of your advertisement, and the keywords in accordance to the search query.

Adwords can be expensive so you want to spend your money wisely. Maybe you have a large bank account but most of you do not, especially those of you that are just starting out. You need to consider you advertising budget.
The activation fee is $5.00.The minimum cost per click (depending upon keyword) is $0.01 and up. The minimum cost per thousand impressions is $0.25. The minimum payment, and this is prepayment, is $10.00.
Keywords are important but let us look at the full benefits and drawbacks of using them.
Bidding on Keywords
When you bid on keywords for Google your main objective is to position yourself for an ideal top position.
There is good and bad with this. The good is the top position. The bad is that you are paying $0.50 to $1.00 to have it placed in the top 10 ads. Now add that up. Big money!!
To keep your costs in check and still lower your competition: Look at keywords with a little less competition. They must still receive a good amount of clicks. Look for keywords with low bids. This will allow you to start your ads in the optimal position.
This may all seem a bit overwhelming but it is something you must consider.
