In this second article you'll learn how Network Marketing may allow you to just do that, putting systems and people to work, instead of investing vast sums of money and having that money do the job.
Multi-level Marketing is a business, that is made to let you capitalise on leverage. Firstly, as your team expands you will be paid on the efforts of everyone in your down line and also there'll generally be tools and systems in place, which you can use to build your business. Multilevel Marketing companies usually offer marketing tools and resources to help you and you need to ensure that your up line has a prospecting and sponsoring process, or system that you can use to develop your business.
Thus, this describes how you can benefit from creating a Network Marketing business, but how will your customers and business partners benefit? If you aren't certain, or are not able to explain it, then why would anyone even consider partnering you? That may sound harsh, however it's also true!
Bearing this in mind, do you know why companies choose to distribute products through direct selling, rather than using the conventional wholesale / retail route? Do you know why the items are usually a high quality, in addition to far better value, and why the business is able to pay Associates a higher commission rate on sales? If not, why not? and what else could you do about it today to move your business forward?
It's impossible to answer these questions in a single short article, but I will give you a short summary from the customer's perspective:
A consumer purchasing from a store will normally pay 2 to 3 times more for a product than the wholesaler / retailer paid the manufacturer for it. Just for example a product costs ?10 to produce. The wholesaler / retailer may then pay ?15 for every unit and the retailer probably purchases them for around ?20 to ?25 from the wholesaler. The retailer will then have to sell the product to the customer for ?45, to offset their expenditures for rental, staffing, tools, advertising, etc. and still earn profits. Hence, the customer pays ?45 for a product which the manufacturer actually sells for ?15, since everybody in the distribution chain must earn profits on the purchase.
If you purchase from a direct selling company then you purchase directly from the producer, or wholesaler. Therefore you will either pay much less for your goods, or you will get a lot higher quality product for the same money. For proof, just look at just how much cheaper companies such as Amazon and Play.com sell products for, when compared to high-street shops. Here you're buying from the wholesaler, so think of the extra impact of buying directly from the manufacturer!
By buying direct, your clients may cut out the middle men and receive products that represent better value for money. Explain this to your potential customers, to enable them to understand the direct sales industry, instead of being sceptical or apprehensive to purchase through you.
In part 3 of this series you'll learn an effective recruiting process for promoting your company using the old school word-of-mouth marketing techniques. This will allow you to understand how to take your Multi-level Marketing business on the internet in part four, along with the advantages of doing so.
